Before he was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Education earlier this year, Ryan Hoch’s home away from home was the fourth-floor study rooms at Grainger Library.
The co-founder of the college-readiness platform Overgrad (BS ’09) sums up his UI experience like this:
“Ask me to describe the relationships between internal stresses and deformations produced by external forces acting on deformable bodies and I’d be at a loss for words. But ask me about the fun I had trying to comprehend the textbook describing it with my friends and I could talk for hours.”
