If she wasn’t working on her pursuit of a master’s in social work, it’s a good bet Abigail Williams-Butler was roaming her favorite campus spot.
“My fondest memory of U of I involves walking around the Quad,” says the Rutgers assistant professor (MSW 2010).
“I remember walking round the Quad and getting free Jimmy John’s sandwiches, watching fellow students climb trees sometimes getting stuck there because of rush week, and walking around campus deciding whether or not I should continue my education and pursue a Ph.D.
“The Quad and the student center are great gifts to U of I students.”
