Heather Pink (BS ’12, broadcast media) didn’t have to go Memorial Stadium to experience the sights and sounds of game day on fall football Saturdays.
The social media consultant and former NFL Network producer could just look out her window at the private Yellow House on First Street, conveniently located a few blocks from the House That Butkus Built.
“Early Saturday mornings, you would hear the Marching Illini warm up on game days. After games, we’d have the flocks of fans pass by our house.
"Some people who were around campus before I graduated know that it used to be the football house on campus. But a group of Delta Zeta sorority sisters and I took over the hours for our final two years of our collegiate career at Illinois. Our iconic house was the home of many Delta Zeta gatherings through our years.”
