Jim Fessler spent three of the most memorable years of his life at 209 East Armory — former home to the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house.
“It was the place that made a large campus smaller,” says the Chicago area attorney. “It is where I ate, drank, slept and met my closest friends both then and now, my brothers. It is where I learned about life.
“There are far too many stories to tell — some appropriate for print, some not.
“The LCA house of which I write was torn down in 2016 and a spectacular new LCA house opened this fall. While the old house no longer exists, the memories will always remain.”
