He goes mostly for the enjoyment of his kids but truth be told, Steve Probst gets as big a kick out of those visits to the children’s library as his little ones do.
"I haven’t been back for about five years but that is my first stop. Kids can get lost in there for hours," says the former chemical engineering major, now managing director at Sage EHS International, a Texas-based environmental consulting firm.
"All my favorite books are in there in hard copy — 'Gordon the Goat,' 'Furious Flycycle,' 'Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.'
"The Natural History Museum in the chemistry building was also a favorite.
"Of course, hanging out on the Quad and feeding the squirrels was also always a favorite."
