Whenever Woon-Wah Siu was feeling a little stressed out — and back in her law school days, this happened with some frequency — she employed the same time-honored remedy:
"I'd go to the small café across the street on Peabody from the Colege of Law," says the corporate and securities lawyer, who left Chicago's Katten Muchin Rosenman in November 2017 to start her own practice in sunny San Diego.
"The café was cozy and served good coffees. My classmates and I spent many hours there between and after classes and we’d talk about cases, classes, classmates and professors, and generally shooting the breeze.
"It was a little place to decompress.”
