A small piece of advice from the design director of Condé Nast’s Wired magazine to future generations of Illini:
Get out and explore. You don’t know what you’re missing beyond the confines of campus.
“Some memorable spots for me were the ones off campus that were like hidden gems,” says Florence Pak from the UI Class of 2002.
“I loved the Japan House, where I took a ‘Zen and Tea Aesthetics’ class. Allerton Park. And I still crave Jarling’s custard.”
