Talk about willpower.
Chris Holiday’s route home from class in the 1960s included the 600 block of East Daniel Street, home to a certain drinking establishment.
“My go-to place was Kam’s,” says Holiday, (BS ’69, accounting), the former VP of sales for Callaway Golf (1990-2001) and general manager of North American sales for TaylorMade-Adidas Golf (2003-05).
“We also tried to make sure we had morning classes on Fridays so we could line up in the late afternoon in order to get in to Kam’s.
“Great memories with my friends in Kam’s. I still go back for a football game every year and have a beer at Kam’s from time to time with the same guys.”
