Jerry Miner

Detection lead | Monsanto | Class of 2007

Far cheaper than owning a car and far quicker than hoofing it, Jerry Miner traversed the expansive UI campus by rollerblade.

“A lot of memories and friendships were made racking up mileage on my Shima S3 Razors skating campus back and forth from my dorm room in ISR to my buddy’s in PAR for calculus study sessions and beverages," says the St. Louis-based Monsanto detection lead, a member of the UI Class of 2007.

"My trips included mandatory stops at the Undergrad Library or Armory for quick ledge skate sessions and Jimmy John's on Lincoln Ave. to grab a No. 7 and No. 11 on the return trip.”
