It was 80 and sunny the day Orazio Buzza first stepped foot on the Quad as a freshman accounting major in the summer of 1990.
And the future food technology CEO was sold on the UI right then and there.
“That point cemented my love for the campus,” says Buzza, who in 2011 founded Chicago-based Fooda, Inc. “Thirty years later, I came down to campus for homecoming and relived that experience with my oldest daughter.
“She was as impressed with the Quad and campus as I was.”
