We say Illinois, Kilby Cantwell Macfadden says ... Foellinger Auditorium, which “will always hold a special place in my Illini heart.”
“I was lucky enough to have so many of my LAS classes right across the street from Foelligner when I lived at the Pi Beta Phi House,” says the Las Vegas-based assistant U.S. attorney, who majored in political science at the UI.
“This made my 8 and 9 a.m. morning classes a breeze, especially during the cold winter months.
“The architecture was so awe-inspiring and beautiful. As a Pi Phi, I loved walking to the Auditorium, under the archway that faces Wright Street, which was erected by Foellinger, whose wife was a Pi Phi.”
