Aja Favors can trace her love of literature all the way back to the late ’90s, when the history/pre-laq major was given an all-access pass to any bookworm’s paradise.
“My fondest memory of UIUC was the time I spent getting lost in the Stacks," says Favors (BA '00), the Chicago-based associate general counsel for the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
"I received special permission — undergraduate students were not permitted to enter the Stacks — and that experience has fueled my love for publishing and my passion for books.”
