There’s a trick to making studying a little less agonizing, Anisha Ismail Patel learned in the 1990s.
“My favorite study treat was going to indulge in some ice cream at Delights — fresh strawberries, chocolate and nuts whipped together," says the founder/CEO of the educational consulting firm InnovusEd and adjunct supervisor at Northwestern’s School Of Education and Social Policy.
"It was heaven and always brings a smile to my face when I think about it all these years later.
"The best thing was, back then, I didn’t even think twice about enjoying this sweet treat. Ahh, youth."
