Many stumbled out of Murphy’s Pub through the years.
Bryan Paul (Class of 2010) remembers stumbling in — “after the notorious U of I electrical engineering undergrad program subjected us to another brutal exam. It was right by the old EE building — Everitt Lab — and they had 1554 on tap.
"We’d all pour a drink and tell our war stories about the recent labs and other exploits. Definitely helped us make it through to the end," says Paul, now a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based space payloads systems engineer at General Dynamics.
