“Some of my favorite times” were had there, says 2012 history grad Danny Reiter, now of the NFL Network. “That tended to be our starting spot on the weekend when we wanted to blow off steam, play some pool, etcetera.
“It’s always funny to me how spoiled we were with the prices of the drinks. Any bar outside of Champaign-Urbana, the drinks we ordered would have been double the price.
“But I always remember us hanging there and really making my final year of college memorable.”
