To Jennifer Ollie, it doesn’t get any better than the Illini Union during breaks between classes.
"The building is centrally located on campus and stomping grounds for great social activity among myself and other peers on campus," says Chicago Public Schools' STEM program manager.
"Also, the Union served as a place of student culture on weekends as they hosted several social gatherings, poetry sets, homecoming festivities and much more.
"I also maintained a job in the Quad Shop and enjoyed my time there, as well. My time at the university was the absolute best, one that I will never forget."
