Whenever Joe Bankoff needed a soothing study break — and law school being law school, this happened with regularity — he didn’t have to go far.
“The Krannert Art Museum across from the law school was a place to go to think about things other than the law, as was the Krannert auditorium that opened with the Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra while I was in law school." says the chair of Georgia Tech's Sam Nunn School of International Affairs.
“But the place I remember as key to sanity in the cold winters was the late night Original Pancake House,where I would go with friends for the all-you-can-eat specials while I was a resident advisory in the very co-ed dorm on Florida Ave.”
