John Locallo

John Locallo

Chicago law partner | Amari & Locallo | Class of 1982

If it was a weekend night during the school year in the early ’80s, John Locallo could usually be found in the same spot.

A hint: Fried icelandic cod.

“I fondly remember the Friday and Saturday fish sandwiches at the DeLuxe on Green Street,” says the partner at Chicago’s Amari & Locallo (BS ’82, accountancy).

“With no tartar sauce available so as not to insult the chef, I placed a dollop of catsup and mustard and raw onion on mine, with a side of navy bean soup.

“The memory of enjoying that wonderful old establishment with my family or Delta Upsilon brothers always brings a smile to my face.”
