Little did Lise Dominique (’78) know what else happened to be located in the residence hall she called home for more than a year-and-a-half.
“I was too busy barreling through classes and hanging with my friends at Kam’s and Dooley’s to notice” that Weston Hall also housed WPGU, the basement-based, student-run radio station, says Dominique (’78).
“Not until we had to declare a major and an acquaintance mentioned that I might be good on the radio did I even bother to wander down into the bowels of the building to check it out. What I discovered changed my life and opened me up to career possibilities I’d never even considered,” says the broadcaster, author and owner of HarveyDoodle Productions.
“What a blessing to land in Chambana. All hail the Chief.”
