Naomi Hill

Business continuity analyst | AARP | Class of 2014

For Naomi Hill, there was no better stressbuster than spending a few hours at her two favorite campus spots.

“Looking back, my fondest memories on the University of Illinois campus were made in the Office of Minority Student Affairs and the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center,” says the AARP’s Washington, D.C.-based business continuity analyst.

“No matter how stressful or challenging my academics and campus life became, I could always count on each space for resources, social rejuvenation and encouragement,” adds Hill, who earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology in 2014.

“OMSA and BNAACC not only helped me grow personally and professionally, but also served as the origins of my Illini family and the beginning of opportunities that ultimately changed my life.”
