Tracey Konicek’s Campustown happy place was none other than the so-called home of the drinking Illini.
“Kam’s! I know a bar is not very scholarly but the times I spent there with my sorority sisters were so fun — and funny,” says the former finance major, now a consultant for qler Solutions, the Chicago company that provides historically under-served hospitals and care settings access to behavioral health care.
“From pestering the DJ to play a favorite song or waiting to get into one of the bathrooms — ugh — to glass night to falling off a chair after a long day of imbibing, I’ll never, ever forget that place.”
