Ten years, two aerospace engineering degrees and one structural analyst job ago, Adam Warren enjoyed his first cold one at the place he'd eventually become a regular.
Here's a toast to Murphy’s — “the one Campustown place that I definitely miss the most,” says Warren (BS ’09, MS ’10), now an advanced design engineer at TaylorMade Golf following a six-plus-year run at Cummins Inc.
“I spent almost every Friday after my 21st birthday enjoying $5 pitchers of Honey Brown and Killian’s Irish Red at Murphy’s with my closest friends playing pool and darts in the basement.
“It’s the perfect environment to unwind after a long week of engineering classes, and I try to stop in any time I’m back in Champaign-Urbana.”
