The first place Chantelle Kelly's mind goes when she thinks back to her college days is the Illini Union.
Or, as her 1-year-old, RJ, called it upon first sight, "The Big Clock."
"The Union was the common ground that any and every one from all majors, demographic backgrounds and unique talents are embraced and celebrated," says Kelly ('11), PepsiCo's Chicagoland-based customer development manager and certified trainer.
"From pageants and dances to protests and study sessions, The Union set a genuine tone for community. An active community that I, for one, am extremely proud to be a part of.
"Hail to the Orange and Blue.”
