“Not only was it a place I met some of my closest friends, but it was a community that allowed me to grow into my absolute best self,” says the 2016 political science grad, now a Chicago-based experience analyst with the Obama Foundation.
“During my time at BE, I was a resident advisor for Busey 2 — I spent so many hours on that floor, in that hall, with my residents discovering and developing strengths that I never thought I could have.
“Whether it was ordering insomnia cookies at 1 a.m. or shuffling to create ‘cool’ bulletin boards for my floor, BE is a place that holds so, so many special moments for me to think about during my incredible years at Illinois.”
