Christopher Kenessey

CEO | NetMotion Software | Class of 1997

He runs his own Seattle software company these days but back in the mid-'90s, Christopher Kenessey got a taste of what it's like to be a Big Ten football coach.

"One of my fondest memories was being a volunteer football recruiter under Lou Tepper and Ron Turner," he says. "We coordinated visits, watched film, and the best part of it was talking the recruits and parents around Memorial Stadium on game day.

"It’s easy to sell something to potential student-athletes when you have a product as great as the University of Illinois. Also, there is something special about Memorial Stadium when it's packed and the football team is winning.

"I’m confident in time that Lovie Smith will get us back on track again."
