What Christy Haerim Won wouldn’t give for a heaping slice of sweet potato cake from Café Paradiso right about now.
“As an introverted extrovert, Café Paradiso has a special spot in my heart because it was a my personal getaway from the weekend campus party scenes,” the two-degree UI grad says from Seattle, where she’s a software engineer at Microsoft.
“I still wanted to meet people and be near people, just not in a crazy frat party.
“I not only did academic work there but also read books and did occasional creative work such as video editing. The staff are nice and the drinks are awesome.
”It’s definitely the best coffee shop on campus.”
