Geoff Miller didn’t get where he is by thumbing his nose at authority.
Well, except for that one time that the now-president of NeoCurrency (BS ’93/psychology, MS ’95/advertising) found himself in a cramped basement room at Gregory Hall, where he was working for an advertising professor.
“She introduced me to my future wife with the line, ‘This is Seema. She’s from India. She’s tiny, cute and engaged to be married. Stay away from her.’
“I ignored her advice.
“Twenty years later, we’re still happily married and living in Los Angeles.”
As Miller notes in his LinkedIn bio, “At 6-foot-4, he proposed to his 5-foot-1 wife Seema at the Taj Mahal in India — then married her 3 times in 1 year.”
