For Haylie Choi, chemistry was much more than a major.
For a time there at Illinois, it was her everything.
"When you live, breathe and sweat over the same subject with your peers, it changes your appreciation for a subject," says the research associate at Definers Public Affairs of Washington, D.C.
“One of my favorite stomping grounds was the Chemistry Annex. I had the most challenging but exciting experiences during my labs and classes there.
"It is also where I met some of the most fun, quirky and brilliant people I know.”
