An Illini love story, Grainger Library edition ...
“I graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law in May 2005. I met my wife, Kristin (Class of ’07), while we were both attending the University of Illinois College of Law. She was in her first year and I was in my last year," says state Sen. Jason Barickman (R-Bloomington).
"A friend introduced us and we fell in love while ‘squatting’ in Grainger Library — law students escaped the law school and law library by studying at Grainger; having a beer at Legends; and walking aimlessly through the Quad at all hours.
“We remember well, joining thousands of undergraduate students on the UI campus, and specifically at the Alma Mater, to join the excitement of the 2005 basketball team.”
