Karina Anglada

Strategic development manager for video | Adobe | Class of 2010

You name it, Karina Anglada dealt with it during her two-and-a-half-year stretch as an RA at Forbes Hall.

“One time, one section of the fourth floor was flooded because someone — we never found out who — somehow managed to rip the water fountain off the wall. Let’s just say this happened in the wee hours of the morning; I’ll let your imagination do the rest,” says the two-degree alumna (BS ’10/broadcast journalism, MS ’12/library and information science), now Adobe's strategic development manager for video.

Forbes was also where Anglada made some of her closest campus friends, given how much time she in the residence hall. “I bonded a lot with my residents, but my most special memories are those with my fellow RAs,” she says.

Another favorite spot: the Bielfeldt Athletics Administration Building, which “ I will always hold dear to my heart,” she says. “I spent almost every waking hour in that building teaching myself how to edit on Avid Media Composer, and it’s where I fell in love with video production.

“The video board shows for basketball and football games came from the control room in this building, and that’s also where I learned live production. I still remember the first time I ever set foot into that building.”
