For a sophomore Yvette Mayorga, Tuesday evenings meant Wine Night at the Clybourne — making Wednesday mornings something of a mad scramble.
“I had an early morning Art History class that I was always literally running to because of late nights spent at Cly’s,” says the Chicago artist (BFA ’14/painting, anthropology).
A traditional schedule, Mayorga did not keep during her time in C-U.
“I will always remember all nighters spent at Flagg Hall in my studio painting with fellow classmates until 4 a.m.,” she says.
“The Undergraduate Library also felt like my second home — it was the place where we would all go study, but also to socialize and see each other. It felt like every table was filled with different groups of friends sharing space and time with each other.”
