Long before he ran his own Chicago tech company, Al Goldstein (BS ’02, finance/math) helped run a couple Campustown bars.
“Having spent three years working at Gully’s Bar & Grill, and part of my senior year at sister-bar Station, I can’t help but think about that as a formative part of my experience,” the Avant CEO says from Chicago.
“A bunch of know-all college kids running a bar is sure to be a recipe for disaster but it all magically worked.
“Great times hanging, partying, meeting new people and spending time with old friends — just a part of the growing-up experience.”
