Played sidekick Cameron in 'Ferris Bueller’s Day Off' | Can now be seen on HBO's 'Succession' | Class of 1979

Back in Alan Ruck's day, the late, great Deluxe Lunch & Billiards (522 East Green Street) was a must-stop to start the weekend.

“Every Friday, they would serve the most delicious fish sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. Ketchup, pickles and onions,” says Ruck (BFA/drama ’79), whose 100-plus TV and movie credits range from the role of worrywart Cameron in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off" to Connor Roy on HBO's "Succession."

Among the places the suburban Cleveland native called home during his time on campus: Room 227, Taft Hall, as is noted on the plaque outside the door: Alan Ruck — Actor — Lived Here.
