Sarah Schoppe-Sullivan

Professor, human sciences | Ohio State | Class of 1999

Twenty years after serving them up to customers, Sarah Schoppe-Sullivan still has an occasional hankering for her favorite item on any Campustown menu.

“I remember the amazing grilled cheese sandwiches at the White Horse Inn,” says the Ohio State human sciences professor, who earned her master’s (1999) and Ph.D. (2003), both in psychology, from the UI.

“You could pick whatever cheeses you wanted on the sandwich, including cream cheese, plus tomatoes and onions.

"I worked there as a waitress in the summer of 1998 and the best — only? — perk was discounted grilled cheese sandwiches.”
