"I’ll always remember Mumford Hall by the south Quad," says Sean Hennessy, who earned his master's in agricultural and applied economics in 2016, and went to work for the Humane Society's national office not long after.
"I was a grad student in agricultural economics at the U of I so that’s where I spent most of my time on campus, whether attending classes or hosting my TA office hours. But what makes it memorable is the group of bright students and professors in my department.
"I learned so much from them about topics like the impact of agriculture on climate change, and now I get to use what I learned to promote sustainable plant-based foods with institutions across the country through the Forward Food program."
