Before he had tee times at Augusta National and Pebble Beach, PGA Tour star Steve Stricker played countless rounds at the Orange and Blue Courses in Savoy.
“Obviously, golf was an important part of my college life," says the former Illini All-American, "and the Orange and the Blue were where some of my fondest memories at the U of I were at.
“Also, Kam's. It’s a spot we go back to when we return to Illinois and visit every once in awhile.
"I probably should have been thinking about studying and books but it was the Orange in the Blue courses and Kam's that bring back the memories for me.”
