Her 20-year reunion is still a ways away but Summer Jackson-Cole might have to make a special trip back to campus before then.
It's been far too long since she's had an order of Zorba's crinkle fries.
"One of my best memories while attending the University of Illinois-Champaign was eating at Zorba’s in Campustown," says Jackson-Cole ('99), a freelance host at Atlanta’s WSB-TV and on-air talent/producer for the ‘The Daily Buzz,’ which airs on Pop-TV.
"I enjoyed treating myself to the chicken pita with a side of crunchy crinkle french fries — yum. Zorba’s was always a treat on my college budget.
"I’ve thought about visiting Champaign just to eat there."
