— The dorm room at the Florida Avenue Residence halls where she spent one semester before upgrading to an apartment.
— On the tube: Reruns of “Good Times,” often watched while “eating pizza, playing Spades and Bid Whist and building fond memories with friends who are still in my life.”
— Her two go-to spots: “The African-American Cultural Center and the Student Union, which allowed me to feel a sense of camaraderie with peers who shared like values and experiences.”
