Kenney Gym, oh how Allison Buckley misses you.
“As a former gymnast, there were many hours spent training in this building,” says the school record-breaking three-time Illini All-American (BS ’11, kinesiology; MS ’13, sport, recreation, tourism), now Learfield’s manager of client relations.
“There was a lot of blood, sweat and tears as my teammates and I built and left our handprints on the Illinois gymnastics program.
“We all learned a great deal from our coaches and each other. It’s also where we developed amazing relationships with each other; many of the women in my life that I consider my best friends today.”
