“Teaching so many diverse students across UIUC from different backgrounds,” says Nike’s director of workforce development, a two-degree UI grad (MS '05/statistics, Ph.D. '10/quantitative psychology).
“I spent a lot of time helping people learn how to use data and analytics to make better business decisions,” she says. “Teaching statistics throughout graduate school in a couple of different departments taught me how to be a better teacher and has had a lasting positive impact on my career.”
