For Steve Stanczak, it didn't get much better than the little plot of land located just west of the College of Law building.
“Cribbet’s Field. During my first year of law school, we’d meet there every afternoon for a game of football or softball," says the executive VP and general counsel of Poway, Calif.-based UGSI Solutions.
"I started law school with the intention of working my butt off to get good grades but after a few months of playing sports at Cribbet’s Field every afternoon — and then retiring to Murphy’s Pub afterwards to relive our moments of sports glory — I concluded I’d still become a lawyer if I got Cs.
“I was right.”
