Alexander Djordjevic

Alexander Djordjevic

Concert pianist | Grace Welsh Prize for Piano

The first time he stepped foot in Smith Memorial Hall, Fulbright Scholar-winning pianist Alexander Djordjevic was in awe.

Not so much by the building itself "but the history of the faculty and students that occupied those hallways throughout the years," he remembers.

The second floor is where he successfully performed his college audition "and subsequent instruction in piano for several years," which led to bigger gigs around the world — from Budapest and Belgrade to Washington and New York.
