Thirty-five years later, there’s one thing that hasn’t changed about campus.
It’s that feeling Beverly Huss ('82) gets when she goes for a walk on the Quad and passes Alma’s outstretched arms.
"I walked the Quad for four years to the Engineering Campus and always felt very much at home and welcomed," says the Qool Therapeutics CEO, who earned her UI bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering.
"I still feel that way today when I return to campus as an alum – always at home and knowing that I made the right choice when I chose the University of Illinois for my engineering education."
