A word to the wise for future Illini freshmen, from the guy with one of the most unique job titles of any UI alum — 'Sesame Street' music director:
“My advice would be the same exact advice my mom and dad gave me in three simple tips before going to Illinois," Paul Rudolph recalls.
"My grandfather told these to my mother before she left for college — sadly, to the University of Wisconsin — so these go back three generations.
“One, eat three meals a day. Two, study in the library. Three, call home once a week.
"Those worked for me.”
